Thank you for visiting the website of Chuwa Bible Baptist Church! Our church is a traditional fundamental Baptist church, located in the city of Asahikawa on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido.

My name is Dean Zemke. I, along with my wife, Sue, and three children,came to Japan in 1996. We studied Japanese in the town of Karuizawa, located in Nagano prefecture. We moved to Asahikawa in 1999, working with other missionaries. In August of 2006, I assumed the pastoral responsibility at the church.

You are welcome to attend any church service. We look forward to meeting you!

Sundays:

Japanese service: 10:30AM to Noon

English service: 7:00PM to 8:00PM

We also offer a 6-lesson introductory Bible course in English or Japanese.
